Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team at East Alabama Medical Center. As an integral member of our team, you will provide high-quality physical therapy services to our patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and a patient-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and administer treatments in consultation with referring physicians
  • Complete documentation in patient medical records
  • Instruct patients and their families in proper patient care
  • Assist in training and mentoring new hires, students, and support personnel
  • Perform clerical and other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • BS in Occupational Therapy
  • New graduate or 1 year of practical experience in direct patient care
  • Current Alabama State Board of Occupational Therapy licensure
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • MSOT or higher
  • 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting
