Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Controls Systems Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing system commissioning, troubleshooting, and resolving basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Commissioning: Loads system-level controller software, performs complex commissioning and system diagnostics, and completes all required commissioning documentation.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoots and resolves basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control problems.
  • Customer Communication: Communicates with customers and management on job progress and issues.
  • Administrative Tasks: Completes administrative tasks, including time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
Requirements
  • Experience: Two years of industry experience or experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.
  • Knowledge: Generally required knowledge includes HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation, and servicing techniques.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Effective interpersonal skills to properly represent Johnson Controls to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner.
  • Technical Skills: PC experience required and the ability to program HVAC-related software, as well as the ability to use hand and power tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Low Voltage Wiring Skills: Low voltage/120-volt wiring skills preferred.
  • Microsoft Excel and Visio: Experience working with Microsoft Excel and Visio.
