OMG Roofing Products is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in a 2nd shift role. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for supporting electrical projects and providing maintenance services to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Support electrical projects and daily work to achieve maintenance goals
- Recommend improvements to equipment and processes as necessary
- Monitor equipment usage and make recommendations to reduce spending
- Evaluate and compare various control and power alternatives and help Maintenance Supervisor to select the best solution using technical, economic, reliability, and maintainability criteria
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Journeyman Electrician license preferred
- 5 years' experience working with all appropriate hand tools and electrical testing equipment
- Sound working knowledge of PLC, AC and DC drives
- Demonstrated record of compliance with company policy, including time and attendance
- Good written and verbal communication and basic math skills
- Ability to solve practical problems and prioritize workloads
- Positive 'can do' attitude
