Compensation Details:
Our drivers earn an average annual salary of $96,000, with opportunities for additional income through our driver incentive program and weekly pay for store deliveries, sleeper berths, backhauls, road closures, and training.

Job Description:
As a CDL A Driver with Ace Hardware, you will be responsible for delivering merchandise to our retailers in a safe and efficient manner. You will work independently, providing superior customer service and ensuring that our products are delivered on time. You will be home most nights and weekends, with 85% of our drivers returning home daily. We are committed to promoting and maintaining a safe, healthy, and injury-free environment for all team members.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 1 year of Class A tractor-trailer on-road experience or comparable experience with large military vehicles. You must also have a valid CDL, a Hazardous material endorsement, and a DOT Medical Card. You must be able to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen and be willing to participate in the DOT random drug testing program. You must also be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand highway signs and signals, converse with delivery clients and the general public, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports/records.
