Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations: Oversee the daily activities of our transportation team, ensuring that all contracts are met and regulatory requirements are adhered to.
  • Driver Management: Supervise and motivate a team of drivers, ensuring they are on time, following routes, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during daily operations, developing strategic solutions to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Fill-in Support: Provide backup support to drivers as needed, ensuring that all routes are covered and services are maintained.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of DOT regulations: Possess a thorough understanding of Department of Transportation regulations, including vehicles, equipment, maintenance, and company policies and procedures.
  • Valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement: Hold a valid Commercial Driver's License with a Passenger endorsement.
  • Valid Medical DOT Card: Possess a valid medical card as required by the Department of Transportation.
  • High School Diploma or GED: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supervisory Experience: Possess experience in a supervisory role within a transportation setting.
  • Flexible Schedule: Be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
