Job Description

Seeking a highly skilled Army Interoperability Certification Engineer to provide technical, programmatic, and analytical support to the PEO AVN Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) in the area of tactical network interoperability.

The ideal candidate will serve as the PEO staff point of contact for all matters pertaining to tactical information exchange, assisting project offices in conducting Army Interoperability Certification (AIC), migrating joint and Army messaging standards, and submitting standards waivers to higher headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the interoperability action officer within the Aviation Mission Systems and Architecture (AMSA) Project Office to ensure seamless information exchange across the aviation fleet.
  • Support interoperability forums, including the Army Interoperability Requirements Working Group (AIRWG), Enable Agile AIC IPT, and other relevant groups.
  • Serve as liaison for tactical interoperability matters with ASA(ALT), the HQDA OCIO/G6, and other higher Army staff elements.
  • Generate, route, and respond to taskers concerning tactical interoperability, and prepare documentation to support OCIO and PEO decisions.
  • Participate in the Army Acquisition Modernization Cyber Assessment Team (AAMCAT) and assist in assessing cyber vulnerabilities related to tactical system interoperability.

Requirements:

  • Five plus years of experience in the relevant areas.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, computer science, or communications.
  • Active Secret clearance required.
