Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team in delivering exceptional healthcare services. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients.
Compensation: $58 / hour

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide range of Physician Assistant services in both primary and specialized medical care, adhering to the training and privileges established by the medical facility.
- Provide technical direction and care for various medical conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses, while recognizing emergency situations to ensure timely diagnosis and treatment.
- Educate and mentor other healthcare staff, offering training sessions and participating in ongoing professional development.
- Encourage preventive health measures and wellness practices through patient education and counseling.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in line with established protocols and approved guidelines.
- Assess medical issues and determine the necessary actions, including referrals to physicians when required.
- Execute specific diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the defined scope of practice.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care services.
- Instruct patients and their families on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and taking responsibility for their health.
- Participate in staff meetings to discuss cases, engage in continuing education, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide Physician Assistant services as needed for deployment-related health assessments.
Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in Medicine.
Accreditation: Graduate from an accredited institution recognized by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
Certification: Must be certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Experience: Must meet clinical competency requirements as per service-specific credentialing guidelines, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant within the last three years.
Licensure: Must hold a current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
US Citizenship and active NACI clearance are mandatory.
