We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician I-IV to join our team at Edwards, a global leader in vacuum and abatement systems. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in assembling various parts based on mechanical prints and other visuals using both hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply knowledge to identify parts that do not meet industry standards through testing and visual inspection throughout the build process
  • Modify various parts using both hand and power tools to meet the needs of each specific build
  • Maintain appropriate communication with supervisor to ensure efficient and timely production
  • Complete and submit time costing sheet documentation each day with the relevant service, project, and billing information
  • Maintain a professional manner to enhance the company's image with customers
  • Follow any safety regulations necessary and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
  • Clean working area prior to leaving each job
  • Attend and participate in departmental or company meetings
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Visual acuity and manual dexterity
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to follow guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
