The Medical Assistant will perform administrative and clinical duties, including updating patient records, scheduling appointments, and assisting physicians during examinations.
Clinical duties may consist of taking medical histories, recording vital signs, and collecting laboratory specimens.
Administrative duties may include answering phones, greeting patients, and filling out insurance forms.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience:
Two (2) years experience in the medical field. Physician office experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
Must maintain current BLS certification. Certified (CMA, CCMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Certification. Must obtain medical assistant certification within 90 days of employment.
