Job Summary

The MRI Technologist PRN is responsible for performing MRI, radiographic, and special procedures at a level that does not require supervision of technical detail. This role requires independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to produce high-quality images and exams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assists in specialty areas, such as the Operating Room and Invasive Procedures
  • Capable of assuming full responsibility for one or more modalities in MRI and Radiology
  • Produces MRI exams and images, as well as radiographs, in accordance with established standards
  • Positions, transfers, and provides immobilization assistance as required
Requirements
  • Certification by the State of Florida (Department of Health)
  • Certification in ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), MRI Credentialed
  • Previous experience working in a Hospital MRI role is desirable
  • BLS Healthcare Provider certification
