About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Safety Professional to join our team at BMWC Constructors. As a key member of our Safety department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist project managers, engineers, and field supervision with all safety-related tasks
  • Conduct safety training and ensure adherence to federal, state, and company safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct field safety audits and identify potential hazards and controls
  • Train and educate location management and workers on safety responsibilities, behaviors, and accident prevention techniques
  • Assist in conducting incident investigations and working with local leadership and field personnel to address safety concerns
  • Prepare and conduct weekly safety toolbox talks and assist in developing and implementing safety protocols
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety or equivalent years of experience in construction safety
  • Certification preferred: OSHA 510, OSHA 10, and NCCR
  • Minimum of 3 years of safety experience in a construction, industrial, or manufacturing environment
