Job Summary
The Hospitals of Providence seeks a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will provide direct clinical patient care, assessing, planning, and implementing care to assigned patients on a per shift basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patients' conditions.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring that care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of [State]
