We are seeking a highly qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team as a Virtual Delaware Speech Language Pathologist. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with students in a virtual environment, providing assessment, evaluation, and treatment services to help them overcome speech and language disorders.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Deliver therapy sessions using telepractice tools to improve students' speech articulation, language comprehension, and overall communication skills.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary.
- Provide guidance and support to teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to enhance students' communication abilities within the school environment.
- A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) and appropriate state licensure/certification.
- Prior experience in educational settings or with pediatric populations is often preferred.
- Comfort and proficiency with teletherapy platforms and online tools for remote communication and documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, teachers, and administrators remotely.
