Nursing Department Supervisor

Main Responsibilities- Direct patient care provision and assistance with daily operations, including coordination of patient outcomes, allocation of resources, and communication.
- Support the manager in enhancing nursing practice quality and effectiveness, as well as nursing service administration and delivery of care in the department.
- Nurse personnel interview, selection, and supervision in the department.
- Cross-functional collaboration with manager to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, healthcare services, and practices.
- Patient, employee, and physician rounding to gain insight into patient care, satisfaction, and appropriateness of operations.
- Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
- Minimum two years of nursing experience, preferably in management.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required; candidates without BSN must be enrolled in a program within one year of hire date.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Professional certification, either clinical or leadership, within one year of eligibility.
Atrium Health offers a competitive salary, ranging from $85,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience, location, and qualifications.
