Job Summary

McKenzie Physician Services is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in the Nuclear Medicine Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating all activities under the guidance of physicians, clinic managers, and Radiation Safety Officers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, administer, and image radioactive isotopes for diagnostic cardiac studies utilizing advanced technology, including the Spectrum Dynamic D-SPECT system.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree from a JRNMT-accredited program or equivalent experience.
  • National Certification as a Nuclear Medical Technologist by NMTCB or equivalent.
  • ARRT certification and licensure as a Nuclear Medical Technologist by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Minimum two years of experience as a practicing technologist in Nuclear Medicine, with a strong background in nuclear cardiology stress testing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Spectrum Dynamics D-SPECT, Athena Health/EPIC, and Philips IntelliSpace Cardiovascular PAC's.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
