Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time caregiver to join our team in Paris. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing companionship and support to our clients, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and conversation to clients, engaging them in activities and stimulating their minds
  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding, ensuring the dignity and comfort of our clients
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and linen changing, to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Lay out clothes and assist with dressing, helping clients to feel confident and prepared for the day
  • Plan and prepare meals, taking into account dietary needs and preferences
  • Provide medication reminders, ensuring that clients take their medications as prescribed
  • Provide transportation to and from appointments, ensuring that clients can access the care and services they need
  • Help family members learn safe care techniques, empowering them to provide the best possible care for their loved ones

Qualifications

  • Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect, providing compassionate and empathetic care
  • Ability to interpret the client's provided plan of care, ensuring that care is tailored to their individual needs
  • Valid driver's license and transportation, enabling you to transport clients safely and efficiently
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations, responding to changing client needs and circumstances
  • Tolerance to small pets, such as dogs and cats, ensuring that clients can maintain their pets in their home
  • Ability to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates, and emergencies, ensuring that you are always available to support our clients
  • Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs, ensuring that you can safely and effectively provide care and support to our clients
  • Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care, a plus, as you will be working with clients who may have complex care needs
