Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and team-oriented Night Shift Lead Person to oversee the daily operations of our Gordon Quarry in Texas. This role involves ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining safety standards, and performing Tower Plant Operator duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and organize tasks for a team of quarry employees, with a focus on efficient production processes and safety standards.
  • Operate and program automated crushing and screening equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor conveyor belts and related equipment to maintain proper flow of material.
  • Maintain strong communication with all plant employees to ensure efficient and safe workflow from quarry to crusher.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Execute production schedules.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of the quarry site.
  • Train and mentor employees on plant processes and safety procedures.
  • Work with management to develop and achieve production goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of production and inventory.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong knowledge of quarry equipment and production processes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Commitment to safety and environmental sustainability.
  • Open pit mining operations and aggregate products experience required.
  • MSHA training a plus.
