Doll Hair Stylist

The Experience Associate (Doll Hair Stylist) is a dynamic and fast-paced role at the American Girl Retail Los Angeles location. This position reports directly to the Experience Sales Manager and is responsible for delivering exceptional salon services, adapting to changing business needs, and creating a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Approach and assist customers promptly, acknowledging their needs and providing friendly service.
- Assess and meet customer merchandise and service needs, including special requests and resolving customer problems.
- Share product knowledge, answer questions, and suggest upselling other salon services and complementary products.
- Style doll hair according to company standards and demonstrate proper hair care and skin care techniques.
- Conduct inventory of salon supplies and stock the salon area, communicating replenishment needs as needed.
- Participate in salon events, including Salon Spectaculars, hair demos, and private birthday parties.
- Collaborate with coworkers to create a positive work environment and assist in training new associates.
- Sales experience in the specialty retail or service industry is preferred.
- Experience styling hair, especially for dolls, is preferred.
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Must be willing to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, nights, and weekends.
