Job Summary

A Patient Care Associate plays a vital role in the nursing team, providing technical assistance and support to ensure the highest level of patient care.

As a key member of the healthcare team, the Patient Care Associate is responsible for assisting with basic patient care, monitoring, and hygiene, while also helping to ensure that care is complete and meets the needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist nursing staff with basic patient care and monitoring
  • Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
  • Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff
  • Utilize Epic to chart and monitor tasks
  • Meet the requirements for promotion to the next level, including completion of 12 hours of college credit
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to read, write, understand, and follow instructions
  • Basic addition and subtraction skills
  • Verbal skills to effectively communicate with patients, visitors, staff, and physicians
Work Schedule

This role will be authorized 72.00 hours bi-weekly.
