Role Summary:
Under the supervision of the Environmental Services Director, the Housekeeper is tasked with ensuring cleanliness throughout the facility and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. This role may also involve assisting with laundry duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily cleaning tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain and polish furnishings, fixtures, and surfaces in resident rooms and common areas.
  • Sanitize and clean bathroom fixtures.
  • Wash windows and mirrors in various areas.
  • Perform floor cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting.
  • Attend to wall cleaning as necessary.
  • Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and ensure adequate supply levels.
  • Dispose of waste properly, including hazardous materials.
  • Prepare vacant rooms for incoming residents through thorough cleaning and sanitization.
  • Handle resident laundry, including sorting, washing, and returning items.
  • Repair clothing when feasible.
  • Notify supervisors of any maintenance needs.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in long-term care or hospitality preferred.
  • Genuine desire to assist others.
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Physical requirements include lifting up to 35 pounds and maintaining mobility throughout the workday.
Compensation:

$13.20
