We are seeking a skilled Advanced Clinical Technician II to join our team at Southcoast Health System, Inc. This role will provide direct patient care, perform various clinical duties, and work under the supervision of our experienced nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including phlebotomy, EKG, and minor invasive procedures, in accordance with physician orders.
- Identify and escalate lethal cardiac monitor rhythm alarms to clinical staff.
- Start upper extremity peripheral IVs under the direction of nursing.
- Conduct patient interviews and provide clerical support, including patient registration, data entry, and transcription of orders.
- Collate medical records and perform other assigned clerical duties.
- Equal to completion of four years of high school plus specialized courses and training.
- Minimum 2 years of working paramedic experience.
- Current Paramedic License, BLS, and ACLS certification required.
- PALS and MOAB certification required within one year of hire.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or exempt for medical or personal reasons.
