Job Title: Cashier Clerk

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cashier Clerk to join our team at the City of Carson's swimming pools. As a Cashier Clerk, you will be responsible for receiving and accounting for cash, registering participants for swim lessons and aquatic programs, and performing related duties as required.

Responsibilities:

* Receive payments and make change
* Complete registration paperwork and maintain records for swim lessons and aquatic activities
* Compile attendance reports
* Answer routine inquiries regarding fees and class times
* Total daily revenue and prepare monies for deposit

Requirements:

* Completion of formal education sufficient to assure the ability to read and write and perform basic arithmetical calculations
* Knowledge of basic arithmetic, correct English usage, telephone etiquette, and basic computer skills
* Ability to perform mathematical calculations, operate an adding machine and computer keyboard, and effectively communicate in English orally and in writing
* Skill and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and deal tactfully with the public

Working Conditions:

The Cashier Clerk will work at the City of Carson's swimming pools. If you have previous experience handling cash transactions, organizing and maintaining records, and knowledge of basic arithmetical calculations, we encourage you to apply.
