Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a client portfolio focusing on Medicare and Under-65 demographics.
  • Proactively seek and nurture leads through various channels including networking, referrals, and campaigns.
  • Exhibit expertise in product knowledge, prepare accurate quotes, and deliver compelling presentations to clients.
  • Provide informed recommendations and guidance on suitable plan options.
  • Identify opportunities for additional coverage based on client assessments.
  • Efficiently manage the application process and ensure comprehensive customer service.
  • Engage in continuous training to stay informed about products and industry standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients.
  • Generate reports as necessary to track departmental performance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends through various resources.
  • Execute all responsibilities with precision to mitigate any potential risks.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Health and Life Insurance.
  • Active Health & Life Insurance License in Texas.
  • AHIP Certification (or obtain within 3 months of employment).
  • Strong interpersonal, sales, and client service skills with a focus on relationship building.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Infrequent lifting, typically not exceeding 10 lbs.
