We are currently in search of a Cybersecurity Program Director to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all contractor activities under the assigned contract.
  • Ensure the contract's cost, schedule, and technical performance are met.
  • Provide expert consultation on cybersecurity operations and policy, proactively identifying innovative solutions and strategies while remaining informed on technological advancements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for all program activities, leading review sessions to evaluate cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with multiple clients.
  • Manage all program-related activities and supervise personnel responsible for specific functions or phases.
  • Drive business development and expand the product offerings for clients.

  • Direct the work of team members assigned to the program from both technical and administrative perspectives.
  • Provide project management support for the planning, execution, and monitoring of complex tasks, including planning, resource allocation, implementation, control, and evaluation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects within the constraints of schedule, budget, and scope.
  • Manage program risks, including pre-project preparations and daily operational aspects of multiple projects.

Professional Experience and Skills:

  • Proven experience in directing programs that develop, maintain, and leverage solutions.
  • Ability to identify and resolve program and project challenges effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with professionals at all levels in a collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional client-facing and internal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in building and managing high-performing teams, both on-site and remotely.
  • Skilled in developing and implementing professional development plans and career pathways.
  • Adept at collaborating with leadership and Human Capital to address client and employee issues.
  • Experience within the Federal Government, particularly with the Department of Homeland Security, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Chief Information Security Officer Divisions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity policies.
  • Capable of providing strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project personnel.
  • Conduct detailed analyses, evaluations, and recommendations for improvements, optimization, and maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission-critical challenges.
  • Engage with clients to identify needs or issues; supervise studies and lead surveys to gather and analyze data, providing advice and recommending solutions.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's Degree is preferred.
  • At least one relevant certification is required: PMP, GISP, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent.

Security Clearance:

  • This role necessitates an active Top Secret security clearance.
  • Selected applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and will undergo a background check to meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information.

Work Location:

  • Position based in Springfield, VA with 10-20% on-site requirements.
