Job SummaryThe Forklift Driver will be responsible for operating electrical power industrial trucks or liquid propane gas (LPG) sit-down or stand-up forklifts with lifting devices. You will receive, load, and handle materials, as well as perform inventory counts and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate forklifts to transport materials and products within the warehouse and production areas.
- Receive and inspect shipments, verifying quantities and conditions.
- Load and unload materials, pallets, boxes, and drums onto/off trucks or containers.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- Minimum of three months of forklift operating experience in a warehouse environment.
- Effective forklift certificate.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend simple English.
The Forklift Driver will work in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment, exposed to various weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and potentially hazardous materials. The noise level is usually loud.
