Facility Maintenance Specialist

The Facility Maintenance Specialist will deliver exceptional custodial services under supervision, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, including sweeping and mopping all tiled surfaces.
- Clean windows and glass surfaces in entrances and offices, both inside and out.
- Manage waste disposal by emptying trash bins and replacing liners.
- Conduct monthly high dusting, including window blinds and other elevated surfaces.
- Restock paper and soap supplies in restrooms, and replace deodorizers and batteries as necessary.
- Vacuum all carpeted areas thoroughly.
- Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned.
- Accept and execute special projects as directed by the supervisor.
Other job-related responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
- Must comply with Ability One requirements.
- Willingness to learn and effectively perform tasks related to custodial duties.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license required.
Other Requirements: All employees must undergo a driver's license record check; classified employees must pass a background check.
Compensation: $15.50/hr.
Work Schedule: 8 hours per week, specifically on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 4 hours each day.
Pay Grade: OP1
