We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Aide to join our team at Harlan Health & Rehabilitation Center, where we provide exceptional care to our residents. As a Certified Nurse Aide, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and creating a supportive environment for our residents.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits, including a salary range of $32,000 - $40,000 per year, depending on experience. Job Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized attention: Deliver routine nursing care to residents under the direction of the charge nurse, ensuring their comfort, privacy, and dignity are maintained.
  • Care planning: Contribute to the care planning process by providing specific information and observations about residents' needs and preferences.
  • Assist with daily living activities: Help residents with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communicating, or other needs.
  • Maintain a safe environment: Ensure the facility's cleanliness, report environmental deficiencies to the charge nurse, and assist in maintaining a safe, neat, and clean environment.
  • Patient monitoring: Observe residents for changes in condition or behavior and promptly report these changes to licensed nursing personnel.
Qualifications
  • Age requirement: Must be at least 17 years old.
  • Lifting and mobility: Frequently lift or move residents and objects weighing over 100 pounds, push or pull wheelchairs or beds weighing in excess of 200 pounds, bend and stop to assist with dressing, tying shoes, bathing residents, reach and stretch across beds and patients to change sheets, linens, clothes.
  • Sensory requirements: Ability to balance while reaching and stretching, finger and hand dexterity required, visual and hearing acuity essential.
