Job Description

This travel nursing opportunity is based in Stevens Point, WI, and involves working as a Nurse Specialist on the Med Surg Intermediate Care unit at AWH Hospital. The unit has 36 beds and cares for patients with complex medical conditions, including sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, Ortho Trauma, spinal cord injury, and Stroke.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in PCU or ICU settings, with a focus on ventilator care and tracheotomy management. A compact license or active WI license is required, along with 2+ years of PCU experience, ICU experience preferred, ventilator/trach experience, and travel experience. BLS (AHA) Certification and ACLS (AHA) Certification are also necessary.
