Responsibilities:

The Healthcare Support Specialist will assist in both front and back office operations, which includes welcoming and preparing patients, scheduling appointments, answering phone inquiries, taking vital signs, performing blood draws, administering vaccinations, and providing additional clinical assistance as needed.

Building a collaborative relationship with the center's staff is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a healthcare support professional (in addition to an externship)
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is highly preferred
- Experience in drug screen collection is preferred
- Proficiency in phlebotomy/venipuncture and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is required
- Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills with patients, and solid computer proficiency are essential
