Job Summary
Healthcare Staffing Plus is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a per diem Emergency Room Nurse. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to ensure seamless care coordination
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders to ensure timely and effective patient care
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team
Qualifications
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- The ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong technical skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Passionate about patient care
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of current RN Emergency Room experience
- One year of Telemetry experience
- Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
- Active unencumbered Wisconsin RN state license
- One year of Cerner experience
- TNCC Certification
- PALS and NRP certifications - American Heart Association
- COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster
