Job Summary

The Nursing Assistant serves as a caregiver to our residents, providing daily living assistance and support under the supervision of a registered nurse. This role requires a strong commitment to resident-centered care, with a focus on delivering age-appropriate care that meets the physical and psychological needs of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily living assistance, including bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing
  • Assist residents with meals and snacks, providing water and supplements as needed
  • Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary
  • Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse
Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
  • Minimum age of 16
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing
  • Satisfactorily completes yearly department-specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits
