BAE Systems Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our dynamic team of engineers, technologists, and military veterans in Wallops Island, VA.

This position will be located at the U.S. Navy's Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC), where you will support engineering operations, maintenance, and research, development, testing, and evaluation networks.

You will provide daily support to SCSC by planning, implementing, delivering, and testing computing infrastructure while adhering to cybersecurity best practices and DoD instructions.

We require candidates with an Associate's degree in a relevant field or 2 years of relevant experience, along with knowledge of defense industry cybersecurity practices.

A security clearance is mandatory for this position; we will assist selected candidates in obtaining a Secret level clearance.

Key qualifications include:

• Implementation of defense industry cybersecurity practices
• Experience cabling, installing, testing, and delivering IT assets
• Knowledge of databases, including MS SQL

Bonus points for Security Certification, LINUX basic course, Windows OS knowledge, and automation skills using Powershell.

This role offers a Full-Time Salary Range: $56,200 - $95,500 and excellent employee benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, disability coverage, life and accident insurance, and more.
