About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Sinceri Senior Living. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and instructions to ensure all areas of the community are clean and sanitized.
  • Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas, including resident rooms, offices, and public spaces.
  • Clean and polish all room furnishings, fixtures, and ledges, as well as windows and mirrors.
  • Assist with laundry duties, including linens, towels, and resident personal laundry.
  • Provide inventory of chemicals, supplies, and linens as required.
  • Log water and heat temperatures as needed.
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policy.
  • Attend in-services and staff meetings as requested.
Requirements
  • Must be able to read, write, and follow verbal and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
  • Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions and make decisions.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and community officials.
  • Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly and understand their needs.
  • Must be able to work full or part-time on a regular schedule, and on-call as needed.
  • Must meet all state health requirements.
