Moffatt & Nichol is a global leader in waterfront infrastructure projects, seeking a Senior Level Electrical Engineer to join our Seattle or Federal Way office.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement electrical designs for complex projects, including medium/low voltage power distribution systems, microgrids, and offshore wind projects.
  • Prepare detailed plans, designs, and specifications for electrical engineering projects, including lighting, power, and grounding systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers and electrical teammates to complete electrical designs and ensure project deliverables.
  • Conduct site visits to investigate site conditions and meet project requirements.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; required
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering; preferred
  • Professional Engineer License (PE) in Electrical Engineering; required
  • 10+ years of related experience in medium/low voltage power distribution systems, grounding systems, lighting systems, communications systems, electrical equipment design, and selective coordination and arc flash studies

Physical Requirements:

Majority of work is office-based. Some site visits to meet with clients, subconsultants, utilities, and other parties to investigate site conditions and meet project requirements.

Site visits may also include working around live electrical equipment and systems.
