Job Summary:
- Provide high-quality medical care to adult and pediatric patients in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting.
- Teach and supervise residents and medical students in a team-based system of care.
- Participate in quality improvement projects and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive medical care to patients, including routine check-ups, sick visits, and chronic disease management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including dentists, pharmacists, and behavioral health specialists, to provide integrated care.
- Teach and mentor residents and medical students in a clinical setting, providing guidance and feedback on patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including data analysis and process improvement projects.
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an approved school of allopathic or osteopathic medicine.
- Possession of a license to practice medicine in good standing in the State of Colorado.
- Board certification in Family Medicine.
- Sensitivity to low-income and ethnic minority communities.
- Ability to speak Spanish preferred.
