Job Title: CT Technologist

UCHealth is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented CT Technologist to provide top-notch patient care and contribute to the success of our radiology department. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning and immobilizing them as needed.
  • Administer contrast media and other medications as required.
  • Monitor patients during scans and respond to any adverse reactions.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan results, and other relevant data.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State licensure if required by law.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
