Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Telemetry Nights

At Trinity Health Of New England, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and a supportive work environment for our nurses. We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Telemetry unit, working night shifts.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week, with a focus on providing high-quality care to patients with cardiac conditions. As a Registered Nurse on our Medical Telemetry unit, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care, prioritize quality and safety, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, assessing, and evaluating patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Monitor and manage patient conditions, including cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and medication administration, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, promoting open and respectful dialogue, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
  • BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
  • BSN degree preferred, with acute care, medical-surgical, and cardiology experience a plus.
