Job Title: RN Clinical Nurse - Neonatal ICU

Join Cynet Health as a RN Clinical Nurse - Neonatal ICU and take on a challenging and rewarding travel nursing assignment. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Clinical Nurse - Neonatal ICU to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill neonates and their families. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, provide education and support to patients and families, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform the Nursing Process, including assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice
  • Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care with sensitivity to populations-specific characteristics and cultural diversity
  • Partner with patients and their significant others effectively in setting and achieving care goals
  • Ensure safe, high-quality patient care through diverse, inclusive interdisciplinary collaboration and timely documentation
  • Demonstrate fiscal responsibility and support recruitment and retention of healthcare team members
  • Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance initiatives
  • Undertake professional competency assessment and mandatory education
  • Serve as a preceptor and mentor for other nurses and students
  • Promote evidence-based practice and contribute to nursing research
  • Plan proactive care for patients across the care continuum
  • Develop and collaborate on protocols and procedures for best practice outcomes
  • Support efficient use of resources
  • Work a night shift schedule with three weekend shifts in a four-week period
  • Participate in two major and two minor holidays
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Comply with all organizational policies, standards, and codes of conduct
Requirements:
