Job Summary:
- Investigate and adjust multi-line liability claims with precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain high-quality claim services that meet client expectations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations of multi-line liability claims, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
- Review medical, legal, and miscellaneous invoices to determine their reasonableness and relevance to ongoing claims.
- Negotiate disputed bills with medical providers and other stakeholders.
- Autorize and make payments for multi-line liability claims using industry-standard claim payment programs within authorized settlement limits.
- Engage in settlement negotiations with claimants and attorneys, acting in accordance with client authorization.
- Assist in selecting and supervising defense attorneys.
- Monitor subrogation claims for resolution and initiate necessary actions.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining claims, payments, and reserves.
- Promptly provide required information and updates to excess insurers.
- Evaluate performance against Service Commitments set by the team.
- Foster a culture of quality claim service delivery to clients.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exhibit self-motivation, organizational abilities, and flexibility in prioritizing tasks.
- Show initiative and ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
- Demonstrate discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Display teamwork and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment.
- Meet attendance requirements and be responsive to internal and external client needs.
- Clearly communicate verbally and/or in writing both internally and externally.
Estimated Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
