Rail Terminal Diesel Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at the BNSF Alliance, TX Rail Terminal. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing hostler fleet, forklifts, and company vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, air, electrical, hydraulic, and other systems.
  • Maintain and repair hostler fleet, forklifts, and company vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including welding and fabrication.
  • Assist in other areas as needed by managers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the mechanical field.
  • Preventative maintenance mindset.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a physical strength test and background check.
  • Must have verifiable mechanical experience.
