Job Overview

This role is a critical component of our organization's success, responsible for coordinating the flow of goods and materials from suppliers to customers.

Responsibilities
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to serve as our primary point of contact for sales, logistics, and manufacturing departments.
  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with these departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve client or customer needs.
  • This includes periodically comparing current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials, using judgment to anticipate demand for and to acquire additional supplies as needed.
  • Negotiating with outside supply vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders is also a key responsibility.
  • Integrating sales orders with master schedule, coordinating availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery dates is essential.
  • Maintaining master distribution schedule for the assigned facility, revising as needed and alerting appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays is crucial.
  • Participating in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other related departments, leading additional planning meetings with sales, production, shipping, purchasing, and customer service staff is required.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • At least five years of related experience is necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial.
  • A thorough understanding of the business and supply chain is necessary.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Extremely proficient with production planning systems, such as MRP II, is essential.
Estimated Salary Range

$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
