About the position
Manage and report results of adult broomball games.
This position is seasonal and will work approximately 20-25 hours per week from January to February 2025.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Enforce the rules of the games.
- Report any major infractions (suspensions or ejections).
- Ensure that the facility is in playable condition.
- Report the scores of each game.
- Work through all participant issues or conflicts.
- Uphold the integrity of the recreational sport/activity and deal directly with any unsportsmanlike conduct.
- Direct set-up and breakdown of facility for specific activity/athletic instruction.
- Work cooperatively with Park and Recreation Department, other facility users, team managers, and players implementing other recreational programs.
- Act in a polite and courteous manner and represent the Recreation Department and the City of St. Louis Park in the most professional way.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be very familiar with the rules and game of broomball.
- Positive attitude and strong initiative.
- Ability to effectively resolve conflicts.

- Demonstrated cultural competence and comfort with supporting the city's strategic objectives for advancing racial equity.
