Are you interested in a part-time role within a vibrant community of racquet sports enthusiasts? The Field Club of Greenwich is looking for dedicated individuals to serve as Pro Shop Assistants during the fall, winter, and spring seasons. This private racquets club offers a welcoming atmosphere and a variety of services related to squash and tennis.

Role Responsibilities:

The Pro Shop Assistant will be responsible for providing exceptional service to members, addressing inquiries, scheduling lessons and clinics, organizing merchandise, ensuring the facility is clean and welcoming, managing transactions, and assisting racquet professionals during events and tournaments. Ideal candidates should be energetic, capable of multitasking, and possess basic computer skills. Previous experience in racquet sports is advantageous.

Key Duties:

  • Respond to inquiries related to racquet programs
  • Coordinate member requests for lessons and clinics
  • Organize merchandise under the direction of the Pro Shop Manager
  • Maintain a clean and inviting environment for members
  • Process daily transactions using the club's accounting system
  • Assist racquet professionals with administrative responsibilities
  • Engage in member events and tournaments as required
