POSITION SUMMARY
The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role within the healthcare team, providing essential support to patients across various age groups, including adolescents, adults, and seniors, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver compassionate care tailored to the individual needs of patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Utilize knowledge of developmental principles to cater to the unique requirements of each patient.
- Assist in daily living activities and monitor patient conditions, reporting any changes to nursing staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is mandatory.
- Current CPR certification from an AHA recognized provider is required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be at least 17 years of age.
