We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team at Holden Nursing Home Inc.
Job Summary:
The Activities Assistant will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities, promoting socialization, and fostering a sense of community.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead group and one-on-one activity programs that cater to residents' diverse interests and abilities.
- Assist residents with daily activities, such as attending events, participating in hobbies, and engaging in conversations.
- Monitor and report any changes in resident behavior or safety concerns to the care team.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and distribute activity calendars to residents.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement care plans that meet residents' unique needs.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for activities and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and promote a positive image of Holden Nursing Home Inc.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with seniors and familiarity with their needs and limitations.
