Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tanker Truck Driver to join our team at Wynne Transport Service, Inc. in Des Moines, Iowa. As a Local Tanker Truck Driver, you will be responsible for hauling petroleum products in and around Des Moines, Iowa.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tanker trailer to transport petroleum products within a 100-mile radius of your home.
  • Ensure the safe and secure transportation of cargo, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Collaborate with dispatch and other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements.
  • 2 years of recent driving experience, with a minimum of 12 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years.
  • Experience with a 36 ft. trailer minimum.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
