Job Summary:
Temple Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Operations Manager to join our Gastroenterology team. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating the overall clinical and administrative activities of our assigned nursing unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and evaluate nursing staff in their work performance, providing guidance and counseling as needed.
- Ensure optimal delivery of nursing service by managing staffing patterns and making recommendations for improvement.
- Assume ultimate responsibility for staff oversight and patient care in the absence of the Nurse Manager.
- Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to develop and implement policies, procedures, and regulations that promote high-quality patient care.
- Assist in meeting the educational needs of the staff, including providing training and development opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest nursing theory and practice, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)
- 2 Years of experience in a RN role (Required)
- General experience in a clinical leadership role (Preferred)
- National certification in Nursing or Healthcare-related specialty (Preferred)
