Job Summary

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for pre-anesthetic evaluation, preparing patients for surgery, and administering anesthesia during procedures. Your expertise will ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the surgical process.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic evaluations to identify potential risks and develop personalized care plans.
  • Prepare patients for surgery by administering pre-anesthetic medications and conducting physical exams.
  • Administer anesthesia during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed to maintain optimal care.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program and hold an active state license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
  • Board certification by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists is required.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in any state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia is necessary.
  • At least one year of experience as a CRNA is preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
