Deli Dishwasher

At Oliver's Market, we are seeking a skilled Deli Dishwasher to join our team. As a Deli Dishwasher - Sanitation Expert, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our deli department.

This is a part-time position that requires complete open availability, including weekends. The estimated hourly wage for this role is $18.50-$21.50/hour, with regular part-time hours offering a competitive salary.

• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment by hand or using the dishwashing machine.
• Clean pots, pans, trays, and other kitchen equipment according to health and safety guidelines.
• Sort and store clean dishes and equipment in designated locations, ensuring easy access and minimizing clutter.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment on a daily basis.
• Organize and set up dish stations, including sinks and dishwashing machines, to ensure efficient workflow.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Assist in daily food preparation as needed and aid in proper storage and organization of department deliveries.
• Rotate and stock workstation and department supplies, such as cleaning detergents and paper towels.
• Operate equipment safely and effectively, following established procedures.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Food Handlers Certificate preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow directions.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

This role requires frequent lifting and carrying of 10 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. You will also be working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to extreme temperatures and potential use of ladders or step stools.
