Job Summary

Ascension is seeking a skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure the highest level of care for patients.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to ensure seamless care.
  • Coordinate patient care with members of the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders to ensure timely care.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
